Race Day 2018

Today is the day, we finally raced the car for the first time. The day started off with a "small" hiccup. Our car wouldn't start, or it would and then it would stop after a few seconds. We basically deconstructed and reconstructed the car within the hour that the we were allocated for practicing on the track. The heroes of the day were Josie and Viruni. When checking the connections, they found a loose wire. Once we had fixed the wire the car was ready to roll. We managed to squeak in two practice laps which each driver, Maya and Kate. During the big race, it was between us, Perry Hall, and Oxen Hill. When it came down to who had won, it was between us and Perry Hall. All that mattered was our last lap, was it the fastest? It was. When they announced our names we were so ecstatic. We are the champions!

We also won an award for best graphic car design, credits to Chamila. Our amazing President, Meili won the WISE award for starting the club and leading us to compete in this competition.
